OF THE ARDEN HILLS
CITY CODE,
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on April 25, 2016, Ordinance No. 2016-006 was adopted by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, because of the lengthy nature of Ordinance No. 2016-006, the following summary of the ordinance has been prepared for publication.
Ordinance No. 2016-006 amends the Zoning Code, Section 1320 – District Provisions, to delete all references to “Mixed Business District” and “Mixed Residential District.”
A printed copy of the whole ordinance is available for inspection by any person during the City’s regular office hours or on the City’s website.

ORDINANCE NO. 843

CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON
AN ORDINANCE REGARDING
PERMITTED AND SPECIALLY PERMITTED USES
IN THE NBE, NEW BRIGHTON EXCHANGE
ZONING DISTRICT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON ORDAINS as follows:
Section 1. New Brighton Zoning Code, Section 6-690 is amended by adding the following:
The following uses are permitted within those parts of the NBE District designed for such uses in Section 6-720 and Figure A:
(5) Public parks and associated buildings.
Section 2. New Brighton City Code, Section 6-695 is amended by deleting the following:
(1) The following uses may be allowed by Special Use Permit on any lot or within any Building Type in the NBE District, provided they meet the intent of the Design Framework and the special use standards of Section 8-130:
A. Public utility facility.
B. Public parks and associated buildings.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be effective the day following its publication.
Adopted this 26th day of April, 2016 by the New Brighton City Council with a vote of 4 ayes and 1 nay (Bauman).

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING for the following land use actions:
1. Simply Self Storage requests a Site Plan, Special Use Permit, and Nonconforming Use Permit to allow construction of a one story interior climate controlled storage building of approximately 45,500 SF at 251 5th ST NW.
2. Mike Gould on behalf of New Brighton Senior Assisted Living requests a Planned Residential Development amendment to allow 76 units at 2700 Rice Creek Road.
3. Larson Engineering on behalf of ISD 621 requests a Special Use Permit and Nonconforming Use Permit to allow replacement of the existing 8’ x 42’ pre-fabricated press box at the stadium with a new 9’ x 54’ pre-fabricated press box at Irondale High School, 2425 Long Lake Road.
4. The City of New Brighton requests consideration of a new Chapter 12 to the New Brighton Zoning Code, creating a Shoreland Ordinance.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the New Brighton Planning Commission will hold a meeting on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the New Brighton City Hall, 803 Old Highway 8 NW, New Brighton, Minnesota, 55112.
Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to any of the above matters will be heard at this meeting.
All persons are welcome to make an appointment to review any proposed plans and documents with the Assistant Director of Community Assets & Development/Planning Director prior to the Public Hearing date.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Mirror Lake Temporary Drawdown
Notice is hereby given that the City of St. Anthony Village will hold a public hearing in review of the temporary drawdown of Mirror Lake in accordance to Minnesota Statues 103G.408. The public hearing will be held during the City Council meeting scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at the St. Anthony Village City Hall, 3301 Silver Lake Road. Such persons who desire to be heard with reference to the plan will be heard at this meeting.
The public hearing will review the Mirror Lake improvement project goals, design features, anticipated project schedule, and the temporary normal water elevation drawdown.
