An Ordinance Amending Title 9, Chapter 11 of the Code of Ordinances Regarding Rental Housing License Provisions
The city council of the city of Lauderdale ordains as follows:
SECTION 1. The Lauderdale City Code is amended by deleting the stricken material and adding the underlined material as follows:
9-11-8: GENERAL LICENSING PROVISIONS:
D.License Period. (a) The license period is for one year and runs from January 1 to December 31. The license must be renewed annually.
(b) Notwithstanding paragraph (a), any license issued or renewed for January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017, shall terminate on June 30, 2018.
(c) Notwithstanding paragraph (a), any license issued between January 1, 2018 and June 30, 2018, shall expire on June 30, 2018.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be effective upon its adoption and publication.

Ramsey County is requesting municipal consent for the I-694 and Rice Street Interchange project from the City of Little Canada. Municipal consent of projects is described in Minnesota Statutes 161.162 through 161.167.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Shoreview, Minnesota (the “City”), will meet on Monday, December 18, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., at the City offices, 4600 Victoria Street North in the City (the “City Offices”), for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on (i) a proposal that the City issue bonds, in one or more series (the “Bonds”), under Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 475.58, Subdivision 3b, as amended (the “Act”), in order to finance the costs of street reconstruction projects, as described in the proposed street reconstruction plan (the “Project”) and (ii) the proposed street reconstruction plan prepared with respect to the Project. The aggregate principal amount of the Bonds to be issued for the Project will not exceed $3,000,000.

These are the abridged minutes from the School Board meeting held on October 24, 2017, which were approved at the November 14, 2017, School Board meeting.
The regular meeting was called to order at 6:31 p.m.
Board Members present: Anderson, Azer, Boguszewski, Gogins, Shaw, Traynor

Administrative staff present: Derden, Loeck, Mobley, Schaub, Sicoli, Thompson, Von De Linde
Reports and Non-Action Items:
1. The Falcon Heights-Lauderdale Lions Club presented Chair Traynor and Roseville Area Middle School Principal Dr. Tyrone Brookins with a check for $20,000 to support the RAMS IDEA Lab Lending Library.
2. Dr. Leona Derden, director of equity and elementary education, and Dr. Jenny Loeck, director of secondary education, presented an overview of district enrollment data from October 1, 2017, including average class size and longitudinal enrollment data by school, grade, and level.
3. Dr. Derden and Dr. Loeck provided information about the district’s demographics, including the ethnic diversity of the district, the English Learner population, and the proportion of students receiving free and reduced price meals.
4. Jake Von De Linde, director of teaching and learning, reviewed growth results from the 2017 Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment and FASTBridge tests.
5. Shari Thompson, business manager, presented proposed revisions to Policy 700: Advertising.
6. Shari Thompson reviewed Policy 748: Health and Safety. No changes to the policy were recommended.
7. Karen Schaub, director of community education, presented proposed revisions to Policy 800: Community Education.
Action Items:
1. The Consent Agenda including the minutes of the regular school board meeting on October 10, 2017; payment of bills; resignations, appointments, reductions, adjustments; gifts; and concurrent enrollment contracts with Hennepin Technical College and Saint Paul College was approved.
2. A change to the 2018-2019 draft district calendar was approved. Roseville Area Middle School 7th graders only will attend on the first day of school, and 8th graders will begin school on the second day.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:43 p.m.
